Oliver, thank you for teaching me so much of what I know in my work today. And that when I think I
can’t do something I should start learning right away! Thank you for all the books you loaned me,
teaching me how to look at museums in a new way, introducing me to Marcia, giving Squint and Willy
to my mom, the power drill and your continued encouragement in my abilities since I left NY. My
memories of you and the many lessons you shared will stay with me.

There just wasn't anyone on the planet like him and so it is painful to miss him. It seems just
wrong that he is gone. I gave up a long time ago trying to take his measure and just marveled at how
he charged thru life in one new way after another. He loved the things that he could touch and build
and change. But he also peered over the horizon to books, places and music that he couldn't
quite touch, although if there was a horse he could get on to go there he would.
